One Ireland-One Vote: Petition

Register on-line

2 day 4

one Ireland one vote.

The 1916 societies are proud to launch our ‘on-line petition’ to assist all Irish citizens, including the Irish Diaspora, to register their support for the establishment of a sovereign independent Republic. The forcible partitioning of our country against the democratic will of the Irish people has not worked, is not working and will never work. It is totally undemocratic and ignores the wishes of the vast majority of the Irish people.

Not since 1918 has the Irish nation been given an opportunity to express its collective will by democratic franchise. On that occasion despite an overwhelming majority, the English, as the colonial occupier, refused to recognize the will of the Irish people and divided our country for their own selfish and strategic aims.

This on-line petition presents the perfect opportunity to address this historical inequality and allow the Irish people to demand real change. The people best placed to decide on the future of Ireland are the Irish people, take this opportunity to register your voice for a democratic Ireland established on the principles of freedom, justice and peace. Register today, vote for one Ireland one vote.

Hi there just wanted to give you a quick heads up. The words
in your content seem to be running off the screen in Safari.
I’m not sure if this is a formatting issue or something to do with web browser compatibility but I figured I’d post to
let you know. The design and style look great though!
Hope you get the problem solved soon. Cheers
